Katie Thayer (Elizabeth), better known as Bikini Katie, is an actor, improviser, director, and playwright living in Orlando. She began her Fringe tenure in 2011 when she starred as Betty in the show “Big Swinging Dick’s Topless Bar Presents: The Naked Drag Queen Farting.” During the past ten years she is best remembered for Bikini Advertising Space but has been involved as part of the creative team in several Fringe productions including “50 Shades of Gay,” “CraigsLUST,” and all shows produced under Bikini Katie Productions. She has toured her award-winning cabaret, “Beneath the Bikini,” to Ottawa, Kansas City, and New York City, but Orlando Fringe will always be her home. She has her BFA in theatre with a specialization in acting from UCF, and is a Lab Rat at SAK Comedy Lab. She is a member of Playwright’s Round Table, and one of the founders of Whiskey Theatre Factory, a new theatre company dedicated to showcasing underrepresented voices.
